Combe skipper and Tiger Robbie Nicholson
The heavy rain at the weekend might have 'put pay' to the Tigers' game against Audley Ducks at West Witney CC on Sunday, but many club sides across Oxfordshire did see action on Saturday.
Regular readers and friends of the Tigers will know Robbie Nicholson also captains Combe first XI in club cricket. This Saturday, while the rest of us were getting increasingly frustrated with the weather, Robbie really put in a skippers performance for his club side.
In a league game against West Ilsley, Robbie contributed exactly a ton as Combe amassed 277-6.
Excellent knock Robbie. But the young Tiger wasn't finished there.
After whacking the West Ilsley bowlers around, he proceeded to show them how to bowl. As Combe's opponents struggled to 105 all out, Robbie piled on the misery with an impressive 5-26 off eleven overs.
Amazing effort Robbie. Well done mate. So glad you're a Tiger!
