Okay, so last week we got round to picking up the new Tigers' shirts from Elmer Cotton (http://www.elmercottonoxford.co.uk/). To unveil the new shirts we invited the three best looking blokes in the ambush to show them off.
Sadly Mick and Bill Donegan and Nic Yeoman were on a family day out. So we got John, Chris and Cam to model them instead. They don't scrub up too badly, I suppose.
'But hold on there Bazza' I hear you cry 'what's the difference between the new shirts and the old ones?'
Well, there are two very important differences. Firstly look at Cam's chest (he's the young one on the right). Yep, there is the new Tigers club badge, designed for us completely free of charge by our good mate Paul Downes of local graphic design agency GD Associates.
Secondly, take a look at how the shirts actually hang comfortably off Chris and John. No more taking to the field looking like over-ripe satsumas for us 'bigger lads'.
And, if you think John, Chris and Cam look a bit odd stood there like that, the pose is from this months' front cover of The Cricketer magazine. Do you see what I did there?
And I've included this one of Cam because he took the time and trouble to actually put his whites on too. Cheers Cam.
There you have it fellas. The new Tigers kit for the 2012 season. At over £500 for the set, it took quite a bit of fundraising to buy them but I know you chaps will do your bit to help cover the costs with the 2012 season match fees!
